8.1 An organisation may be affiliated to the Party and thereby be entitled to send a delegation to the National Congress based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:
i. It publicly endorses the aims, objectives, policies and programmes of the Party.
ii. It is an organisation whose membership is not based on any discriminatory criteria.
iii. It accepts to pay the requisite subscription fees as determined by the National Executive Committee.
8.2 An application for affiliation shall be made in writing to the National Executive Committee.
8.3 Upon acceptance, the National Executive Committee shall determine the number of delegates such affiliated organisation shall be entitled to send to the National Congress.
8.4 An affiliated organisation may terminate its affiliation by notifying the National Executive Committee in writing.
ARTICLE 9: STRUCTURE OF THE PARTY
9.1 The Party shall be organised into six levels as follows:
i. Village/Polling Unit ii. Ward
iii. Constituency
iv. Regional/Administrative Area
v. National
vi. Gambians in the Diaspora/International Branches
9.2 The Party shall be represented at the village/polling unit level by focal persons or polling agents while the rest of the levels shall each have an Executive Committee, Secretariat or Office as deemed appropriate.
ARTICLE 10: ORGANS OF THE PARTY
The Party shall be composed of the following organs:
i. The National Congress
ii. The National Executive Board
iii. The National Executive Committee
iv. The Regional Executive Committee
v. The Constituency Executive Committee
vi. The Ward Executive Committee
vii. Village/Polling Unit Focal Persons/Polling Agents
viii. National Youth Wing
ix. National Women Wing
x. National Council of Elders
xi. Gambians in the Diaspora/International Branches
xii. Special, Standing and Ad-hoc Committees
xiii. Any other organ as may be decided by the National Executive Committee
